Denmark

The applicant must submit all necessary documentation through Denmark
Visa Application Center in order to apply for a Denmark Schengen Sticker Visa. Prior to submission, a scheduled appointment is necessary. Applicants have to visit the visa application center physically for the biometric procedures and document submission. The applicant will be informed when the time comes to obtain his/her passport once the Denmark Embassy makes a decision.

The Standard Short Term “Tourist Visa” is for those applicants who want to visit Denmark for the purpose of Tour / Holidaying / Vacation. The Visitor is only permitted to stay in Denmark for the duration of their planned of stay but no more than 90 days. The applicant must enter and exit the Schengen area within that time limit. During their stay in Denmark, visitors with a Tourist Visa are not permitted to accept unauthorized employment, attend school, or represent foreign information media.

 

Eligibility to Apply for Visa
1 Basic Eligibility
Any Bangladeshi Nationals are Eligible to Apply for Denmark Tourist Visa (having a valid MRP / E-Passport with at least 6 months validity) subject to provide some required Documents.
Documents Requirements
1 Invitation Letter (If Any)
An original copy of Invitation letter from company/ Organization or Friends and Family with evidence.
2 Optional Interview
If necessary, the Embassy of Denmark might call the applicant for an interview.
3 Forwarding-Letter
a. NOC from the applicant’s company authority on the company’s letterhead stating applicant’s name, designation, passport number, purpose and duration of visa (if employee).
b. Student ID card, proof of enrollment and NOC is required (if student).
4 Flight and hotel reservation
Valid round trip Air Ticket confirmation and Hotel confirmation for the whole duration of the stay, or other documents proving accommodation is required.
5 Overseas medical insurance
Health and Travel Insurance for Schengen (original and photocopy) valid for the duration of stay in Schengen).
a. Minimum coverage 30,000/- € and repatriation. (Medical insurances of credit cards are not accepted)
b. Conditions must be stated either on insurance document or on a separate confirmation letter.
6 Additional Documents
For minors below the age of 18 (if applicable) – proving legal parenthood:
a. Copy of either birth certificate/proof of adoption/custody decree in case parents are divorced.
b. If applicable – the death certificate of parent ( Danish or English translation is required).
c. “Letter of consent” from legal guardian, including his/her passport copy – legalized by a notary public
(only required in cases the legal guardian is not present during the visa appointment)
7 Proof of civil status
Marriage Certificate – if married (also Nikah Nama both in Bangla and English, for Muslim marriage in
A4 size Photocopy)
a. Divorce certificate (“talak namah”) – if applicable
b. Death Certificate – if applicable
c. Birth Certificate of your children –if applicable
8 Applicants / Sponsors Financial Documents
a. Personal bank Statement of Last Six Months and Bank Solvency Certificate.
b. Company bank Statement of Last Six Months and Bank Solvency Certificate (if business).

c. Income Tax Certificate, Tax Return (Last 02 Years)
Income Tax Certificate of Company (In Case of Business Person).
9 Applicants / Sponsors Proof of Occupation and Identity
a. Company memorandum (if business).
b. Office ID card copy & Visiting cards.
c. Salary certificate and Salary account.
d. Trade License updated (if business)
e. Valid Passport copy, NID, Photo, Birth certificate.
10 Photo Specification
A recent (6-month-old) two-color photo with a white background is necessary. Photos format should be in ICAO standard (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm). The photograph should be printed on matt/semi-matt paper, and without border.
11 Cover Letter and Tour Plan
In a cover letter, applicants have to mention the cost and purpose of the visit. In a tour plan, the Travel Itinerary and places to be visited must be mentioned.
12 Application form
a. The printed and signed Schengen Visa Application Cover Letter from ApplyVisa.
b. The printed receipt for online payment of the visa fee.
c. Completed and signed VU2 online form (downloaded from DK Immigration Homepage) or personal explanatory invitation letter. (signed by the legal guardian in case of minors, below the age of 18).
13 Passport
a. Passport with at least two blank pages, valid for at least 3 months after leaving the Schengen territory.
b. All previous passports (photocopy of bio page and of any previous Schengen, UK, Australian or US visas).
